The sun always comes up.
Seasons always change.
However dark the night, morning arrives. The Sun Will Come Up exists to help people hold onto that: through daily wellbeing practices, real community connection, and a reminder, every single morning, that things move, shift, and brighten.
Too many people are facing the night alone.

SWCU CIC was incorporated on 1 May 2026 as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (No. 17194340). Our assets are locked to the community; any surplus is reinvested in our mission, never private gain.
Our objects: to support individuals and communities across the UK, particularly those experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, loneliness, social isolation, or lacking access to affordable wellbeing support, through digital tools, educational resources, and free or low-cost community events.
Wellbeing, woven into the everyday.
Four things that help people feel steadier: a daily app, a companion to talk to, real-life community, and giving that gives back.
The daily app
Sunrises, journaling and calm, daily.
Nova companion
A gentle companion for harder days.
Community events
Gatherings, online and in person.
Charitable giving
A share supports good causes.
It begins with the sunrise.
Every morning opens with a sunrise montage: a quiet minute of light and movement before the day begins. A small, repeatable moment that says: the sun came up again, and so can you.
Start every day with the sunrise.
Sunrise montages
Beautiful daily sunrises to begin the day with light.
Journaling & gratitude
Gentle prompts to reflect and notice the good. Private, always.
Meditation & mindfulness
Guided practices for calm and clarity.
Community events
Wellbeing activities, online and in local communities.
Nova, a companion for the harder days.
Nova, our AI wellbeing companion (powered by LovingIs AI), offers warm, supportive conversation whenever it's needed. Available as a paid add-on, keeping the core app affordable while supporting our sustainability.
Nova offers supportive conversation and is not therapy or a substitute for professional care.
Real connection, in real places.
Wellbeing doesn't only happen on a phone. SWCU runs free and low-cost community events: mindful walks, creative sessions, exercise, and nature-based activities, designed to reduce loneliness and build stronger, healthier communities.
We don't wait to give back. We've started.
SWCU works with charities in the UK and around the world, and has already made contributions to:
The World's Greatest Experiment
